With every person getting a side hustle, everybody wanting passive income, and millennial and gen x homebuyers eating up property across Washington State, I’m certain there are a lot of folks out there absolutely flying by the seat of their pants when it comes to this stuff. That doesn’t have to be you.

A year ago, I was studying for a Bar exam, cooking up a business plan most people didn’t seem to understand, and applying for some of the most random jobs you could imagine. Today, that business plan is finally coming to fruition.

Make no mistake, I am not particularly gifted in terms of size, strength, agility, endurance, or coordination. I have no intentions of becoming a professional athlete and no delusions that such a thing is reasonably likely. What I do have is a desire to push myself to extremes so that I can live my life to the fullest.

There are plenty of articles about wills, trusts, power of attorney, IRAs, life insurance, long-term care, and how to decide which child is your favorite. There’s no point in me repeating those same exercises. Instead, I want to help you work through a few excuses you’ve probably been making.
