The Longhair Linguist’s first book, How to Succeed Without Being an Ass, is available on Amazon!

Why I wrote the book.

When I started law school, I immediately noticed many of my fellow classmates were floundering – and not because they couldn’t handle the material. Instead, they struggled because they didn’t understand the unwritten rules of the rite of passage they had embarked on, let alone how it was affecting their peers.

What was originally intended as a short guide on surviving law school gradually became 12 valuable lessons on how to navigate life in general. I truly believe this book is for anyone and everyone.

Am I the right person to teach these lessons? Probably not. But I’ve learned a few things on my short journey I think are well worth sharing. I’m not going to wait until I’m old and withered to do it. I’ll share them at the risk of criticism and failure – despite being young and unaccomplished – because, when we wait until we’re old to share our wisdom, we do everyone in the present a disservice.
